Colder Air leads to Coastal Storms

Cooler air is moving down from the north and this air is some 10 to 20 degrees below normal for this time of the year.  Our next concern comes at the end of the week as we deal with not one but two coastal weather systems, currently I am concerned with rain with frozen precipitation not to far away to the north and west of the Tri county region. I will know later in the week if i will be chasing the first snow flakes of the season over Sussex county Friday night into Saturday morning and yes it is odd to have snow in New Jersey in the month of October however not the earliest I have observed snow in Early October in the late 70s.  So the next few days will be very interesting around the region.  Stay tuned to HWC for the latest.
